There are limits to all things in this Universe.  There may be exceptions in the case of the ‘no things’, like Love, Compassion, Wisdom and Truth, and (dare I say it), the Creator.  But inside of the creation, all things are limited no matter how large they may seem.

There are limits to the amount that any species can grow within their host medium.  Humanity has never fully recognized these limits, and in fact, our global economy is founded on the untennable believe that there is no limit to the amount a company can grow.  This is the seed of our own potential downfall as a species as we rapidly approach the limits there are in our world.

One book, more than any other, is essential reading for those truly wishing to grasp our current problem, and that book is the Limits to Growth.  If you wish to be a part of the solution and not a part of the problem, start there.  Borrow it from the library if possible (ask them to order one if they don’t have it).  Remember, we don’t all need one of everything.  If you do buy one, read it well and then share it with others.  A book, especially one as important as this one, is of no use to anyone sitting on a shelf.
