Juice
Whenever possible buy juices in frozen concentrate form. Why pay for the extra shipping costs, in dollars and excess CO2 from fuel expended, of delivering all that extra packaging and water to a grocery store near you.
Besides, when you read the packages of most quarts and half-gallons of juice you’ll find they’re made from frozen concentrates anyhow. And the nutritional value of both forms of the product are substantially the same. In fact, the frozen form may be better since vitamins tend to be more stable when kept at colder temperatures until consumed.
So, for the tiny extra effort of measuring and mixing with your own water, you’ll save considerable amounts of money and reduce global warming as well, by choosing frozen juice concentrates over ‘reconstituted’ juices whenever you shop.
